All new applicants for licensure will be required to undergo a criminal history background check. After you have initiated the application process and paid applicable fees, the Board will mail a fingerprint card to you. No license will be issued until the Board office has received and reviewed the background results.
Reciprocity Applicants
Applications submitted after July 1, 2021 cannot be verified as transferrable under MS Law. See Section 73-50-1 et. seq.
Compact Privilege licensees are exempt.
